ABSTRACT

This paper explores the thesis that the prayer of De La Salle Christian Brothers, which not being easily identifiable under the images of the more classical descriptions of prayer, may be seen under the image of “praying my story.” The reflections are based on ideas rooted in traditional and contemporary literature on prayer, including ideas in the writings of De La Salle, and a survey of one hundred randomly chosen Brothers in the North American Region about how they pray.
