ABSTRACT
As Superior General of the De La Salle Christian Brothers, Brother Alvaro articulated a vision and role for the developing Lasallian higher education community. In his introduction to this inaugural edition of the AXIS: Journal of Lasallian Higher Education, Brother Alvaro calls upon higher education ministries to apply their unique resources to the challenges and opportunities of the Lasallian mission.
