ABSTRACT
The paper discusses the connection between the celebration of death (of Saint John Baptist de La Salle) and the promotion of vocations. The paper asks the question, how can we make the message of this jubilee year a message that reaches the heart of young people? The author states the answer is linked with the challenge of communicating today to young people the Gospel Message, a challenge that in the first Christian communities started with the “Good News” that Jesus had conquered death.
