Kelly James, PhD
ABSTRACT
Although all Lasallian institutes of higher education provide service-learning opportunities, the many colleges and universities lack a consistent approach. Based on the author’s experiences at Christian Brothers College, she provides a case study of best practices and offers suggestions for a comprehensive approach for undergraduate Lasallian formation and adult identity development. By creating course clusters across disciplines, students can maximize their learning experiences with comprehensive course preparation and applied experiences.
