ABSTRACT

The Executive Board of the International Association of Lasallian Universities (IALU), at its January 2013 meeting, established this document with regard to the IALU research agenda. The agenda affirms the diversity of the institutions in which research can take place; advocates for strategic research that explicitly places faith and scholarship in the service of society around the themes of food, nutrition, and health, and sustainability and the environment; and encourages administrators and scholars in Lasallian higher education to establish inter-institutional research partnerships.
